STAFF PROFILES

Tomonari Waku

Born in 1979, Tokyo. Graduated from Toho Senior High School and Tokyo Metropolitan University faculty of engineering division of architecture. Completed Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate school division of engineering research studies. After having worked with Fujiki Takao Architect Atelier Corp, he established WAKWORKS Architect Office in 2008, and since then he has been running it till present.

Sae Waku

Born in 1981, Tokyo. Graduated from Tama Art University faculty of environmental design. After. After having worked at a product design department of a jewelry manufacturing company, she was in The Miyake Issey Foundation where she was involved with launching a design facility and planning and designing exhibitions. She has worked with WAKWORKS Architect Office since 2009 till present.

David Polla

Gardener and artist from England. He has dedicated himself to teaching children the skills of building and gardening In England, New York, South America and Africa. He has helped WAKWORKS Architect Office as its partner since 2008 till present.

Junichi Ichikawa

Born in 1984, Tokyo.
Worked at an imported housing maker before becoming a teacher of interior design at the architecture division of Tokyo Kogakuin College of Technology.
He has worked with WAKUWORKS Architect Office since 2011 till present.
